Summary Hearings and Court Martials have a route of appeal.
The Summary Appeal Court is conducted by a Judge Advocate accompanied by two officers. All summary hearings have an automatic right to appeal if the service person is not satisfied with the outcome.
The Court Martial Appeal Court is not dissimilar to a civilian appeal procedure in which permission to appeal is required from the court.
