Amanda began her legal career in Housing Disrepair, before joining Jacobs Solicitors in Chester. It was there she qualified as a Police Station Representative while gaining hands-on experience in Crown Court cases as a Trainee Solicitor.
She later joined DPP Law in Liverpool, where she qualified as a Solicitor and quickly earned her place on the duty solicitor rota, representing clients in a wide range of serious criminal matters.
Amanda has a longstanding connection with the British Armed Forces, having served in both military and civilian roles for the British Army prior to qualifying in law. This unique background fuels her passion for representing military personnel, both in the UK and at British Sovereign Base Areas abroad. She regularly attends police station interviews, summary hearings, and Court Martials for her military clients.
Amanda’s criminal defence experience includes cases involving murder, sexual offences, and possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs. She is known for her calm, strategic approach and unwavering commitment to her clients.
She holds an LL.B from Edge Hill University, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice (PgDip) from Liverpool John Moores University. Amanda is a proud member of both the Criminal Law Solicitors’ Association (CLSA) and the Association of Military Court Advocates (AMCA).
